The lug double-plate check valve not only inherits all the advantages of the standard wafer check valve - compact structure, quick opening and closing, and low flow resistance - but also achieves a key functional upgrade through its unique valve body design with threaded holes (lugs) : it allows the valve to serve as a load-bearing connection point for single-ended pipe flanges during system maintenance without the need for additional pipe supports. This makes it an ideal safety isolation component for the front end of downstream equipment that requires frequent disassembly and maintenance, such as pumps, filters, and instruments.

Water Pumping Stations and Water Supply Systems: Protects main pumps and allows for quick, safe replacement or maintenance of individual pumps without the need to drain the entire system.
Industrial Process Lines: Installed at the inlets and outlets of process equipment (reactors, filters, mixers) that require regular cleaning, replacement, or repair.
Marine and Offshore Engineering: Ideal for compact spaces and demanding maintenance conditions; the lug design facilitates safe equipment disassembly in confined engine rooms.
HVAC Systems: Used in large chiller units and heat exchanger loops for convenient seasonal equipment maintenance and isolation.
Any application requiring the combination of "check valve functionality" and a "maintenance isolation point."

Choose the Standard Wafer Type: When the pipeline itself is well-supported, and the valve location does not need to serve as a frequently disassembled equipment interface, the standard wafer type is the most economical and lightweight option.
Choose the Standard Lug Type : When the valve is directly installed on the flange of equipment that requires frequent maintenance, and you want the valve to remain securely fixed on the main pipeline side as an isolation barrier during equipment disassembly, the lug type is the necessary and only safe choice. It is not just a valve but a functional safety node in the system design.
