Breathing valves are ventilation devices installed on fixed storage tanks in petrochemical plants to prevent damage to the tanks due to overpressure or vacuum, and to prevent the entry of external flames and reduce the evaporation loss of the liquid inside the tank. According to the national "Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Plants" GB50160, "Fixed dome tanks for Class A and B liquids should be equipped with flame arrestors and breathing valves." To meet this requirement, our factory has developed a complete series of all-weather (fireproof) breathing valves.
They feature a scientific and novel design, a complete range of specifications and models, a compact structure, light weight, large ventilation capacity, and low leakage. The product structures include breathing type, single exhalation type, single inhalation type, different diameter type, and jacket type (refer to the SX series breathing valves for details). All structural forms can be equipped with flame arrestors and the required connection tubes at the exhalation and inhalation ends. At the same time, different materials are used to manufacture the valves for storage tanks containing different media such as oil, chemicals, and food, fully meeting the process requirements of various storage and transportation systems.
