The flame arrestor breathing valve protects the storage tank by connecting it to the atmosphere, thereby preventing the tank from being damaged due to overpressure or overvacuum. PRV-A not only provides basic protection for storage tanks and operating systems, but also significantly reduces the loss of gas and steam inside the tanks, making important contributions to environmental protection and effectively saving economic costs at the same time.

Maintenance and repair
To ensure the safe application of the flame arrestor breathing valve, the corrugated flame arrestor layer should be removed and cleaned regularly within 3 to 6 months to guarantee that each hole on the flame arrestor layer is unobstructed and prevent blockage, ensuring safe and normal use. Regularly check whether the positive and negative valve discs work flexibly and whether the guide marks and the contact sealing surfaces of the valve discs are damaged. If any damage is found, they should be replaced immediately. When re-inspecting, maintaining and reinstalling, it is necessary to ensure that all the mating surfaces inside the valve fit tightly and that the valve disc can rise and fall flexibly. When a new valve is put into use, the flange protection cover should be removed before installation to clear the shockproof objects in the valve disc; otherwise, the breather valve will malfunction.
