ABOUT PRODUCT
    Oil Gauging Hole is a special accessory for measuring the level of oil in the tank and taking oil samples. One is arranged on the top of each tank, mostly located near the tank ladder platform. The diameter of the measuring hole is 150 mm, and the hole cover and elastic bolt can be closed. In order to prevent the impact of the hole cover and iron to produce sparks, the sealing groove of the hole cover is embedded with oil-resistant rubber pad or soft metal (copper or aluminum). Because the steel measuring tape is easy to friction and spark when contacting the outlet, copper (or aluminum alloy) is set inside the hole tube, or non-ferrous metal guide groove (ruler groove) is installed outside the fixed measuring point without spark.

In order to ensure that the amount of oil every time along the same position ruler, reduce the measurement error, in the amount of oil hole on one side of the wall is equipped with aluminum or copper guide groove. There should be no welding seam on the bottom plate of the oil tank below the oil hole. If necessary, a measuring reference plate can be welded there to reduce the relative error of each measurement.

Oil tank fire often occurs in the measurement hole, the main reason is that during the measurement operation, the hole cover is opened and the oil and gas in the tank rush out, such as electrostatic spark or impact friction spark will ignite the oil and gas.
